I am the mom of a beautiful and curious little girl and a wild and rambunctious little boy. I'm also the wife of a hard working man and together we're surviving the trials and tribulations of every day. Like all working and stay at home parents I've felt the joy of success and the disappointment of failure. I'm The Everymom. My mission is to make this website a safe place for us to share our experiences. Emails and comments on posts are always welcome and appreciated, but please keep all criticism constructive. I'm looking forward to laughing and learning with you.

My love of food began (not surprisingly) during my first pregnancy. More specifically toward the end of my first pregnancy. I was ill in the beginning. Extremely ill. I lost eleven pounds ill. Somewhere around the sixth month my hormones did a flip turn and I was starving. I was eating huge portions of everything. Meats, vegetables, pastas, desserts, you name it. These cravings of all types of food placed me in my kitchen often. I was constantly experimenting with flavors. Which spices make which dishes taste better? Will a bit of vanilla extract send this dessert over the top? Food was fun and it still is. My mission is to make this website a safe place for us to share our experiences.
